Get rid of Dark Circles

Dark circles are common problem these days.Basically dark circles arise due to lack of nutrition,stress,sleeping disorder,genetic disorder etc.I am going to share some easy remedies for this problem.

  1. Take few drops of Almond Oil in your left palm.Now massage the oil with the ring finger of your right hand around your eyes.Always massage in one direction only.After 15 minutes take wet cottons and clean the area.
  2. Mix cucumber juice and potato juice together.Apply this mixture to the affected area and relax closing your eyes for at least twenty minutes.Then wash with cold water.
  3. Put cucumber slice on your eyes and relax for 15 minutes.
  4. Wet cotton balls in cold milk and put it on your eyes for 15 minutes.then wash off.
Apart from all these try to sleep for seven to eight hours at night.Don't work too long in front of computer.Use sunglasses during the day time before going out.If you follow these simple steps you will definitely get rid of dark circles.

Easy tips to get rid of Suntan and Sunburn

Here are some simple homely tips to get rid of your tanned skin.
  1. Make a paste of curd and turmeric.Apply this mixture to all the tanned parts of your body.Let it dry.then wash off with cold water.If you continue this process on a regular basis you will see the difference.If you have problems of pimples and excessive oily skin you can add sandal wood to the paste.

  2. Make a paste of cucumber,tomato juice and lemon juice.Apply this mixture to the exposed part.Keep it for at least 20 minutes.Then wash with cold water.
  3. If your are suffering from sunburn apply sesame oil regularly on the affected parts.
  4. Take a cotton ball.Dab it in cold milk now apply this to the affected parts.Do it daily before going to take bath.
  5. Apply the pulp of ripe papaya on the affected skin to get rid of Suntan.

As temperature is rising ; the problems of sun tan,sun burn,heat rashes are increasing.To get rid of all these problems,there's only one solution and that is Sunscreen.If you make a habit of using sunscreen on a regular basis you can protect yourself from skin damage.

Why sunscreen is essential ?

There are two types of Ultraviolet rays.
  1. UVA (Ultra Violet A)
  2. UVB (Ultra Violet B)

These UV rays lead to many skin problems such as-Sun tan,Sun burn,Dark patches,rashes etc.Apart from these,there is possibility to have skin cancer as well.Melanin,the pigment present in our skin helps to protect our skin from UV rays. Before buying a sunscreen your should always check out the ingredients mentioned in the wrapper.It is always advised to buy an SPF and PA containing sunscreen.SPF means Sun protection factor.SPF protects our skin from UVB ray.It's always good to use a sunscreen of high SPF for prolonged protection.Now PA helps to prevent the UVA ray."+" sign is used beside PA to indicate the power of protection.Ex. PA+,PA++ etc.



Select Sunscreen according to Skin types

It is very important to buy sunscreen according to your skin types.There are separate sunscreens for oily skin,dry skin,combination skin and normal skin.If you have oily skin you need to buy an oil free sunscreen.These types or sunscreens are generally gel based.If you have dry skin,go for a cream based sunscreen.If you have normal or combination skin you need to buy Sunscreen lotion.

How to use Sunscreen?


Before applying a sunscreen you need to keep in mind that along with your face,your neck,back and hands are also exposed to the sun.So you have to apply sunscreen to all those exposed parts.Apply sunscreen at least 20 minutes before you go out.If you are prone to sweating ,it's better to apply an waterproof sunscreen.But always remember that no sunscreen can protect your skin for the whole day.So if you stay outside for long you need to reapply sunscreen in every two hours.Don't skip sunscreen in cloudy weather.
